Core Principles

• All participants must be adults
• Everyone must be sober enough to make decisions
• Consent must be enthusiastic and ongoing
• "No" or hesitation means stop

2. Communication is Everything

Clear communication prevents misunderstandings and builds trust:

• Discuss expectations before any activity
• Use safe words or signals
• Check in during and after
• Debrief and give feedback

3. Risk-Aware

All activities carry some level of risk. Being informed helps you make better decisions:

• Research activities before trying them
• Start slow and build up gradually
• Have safety measures in place
• Know when to stop
